Join us in a LIVE event featuring the TEACHINGS of this mother and daughter team. They will share their 30+ years experience of living as Indigenous Native American women who hold ceremonial space for other BIPOC and their communities. Both Unci Beverly and Lushanya are natural born storytellers, wisdom sharers, and intergenerational teachers. You will hear teachings about honoring the vision of the Women's Lakota Sundance, transitioning leadership from one generation to another, and the honor and considerations of attending sacred, spiritual Indigenous ceremonies. Whether you leave with a chuckle in your belly from one of Unci Beverly's "indecent" jokes, or a tear rolling down your face from witnessing the deep respect Lushanya holds for her mother and family, you will undoubtedly leave grateful for attending this event.

Oct. 20 Intercultural Ceremony Etiquette
Attending an Indigenous ceremony, regardless of your racial/ethnic identity, requires careful consideration and respect. We live in a society that lumps all BIPOC together as one culture and inappropriately assign individual heritages' spiritual practices, values, and beliefs.
Nov. 10 Intergenerational Leadership
Unci Beverly and Lushanya have worked together as spiritual teachers within the Women's Lakota Sundance for more than thirty years. They will share the rewards of their commitment in this tradition, as well as some struggles that arise when one visionary transitions their leadership into the hands, hearts, and minds of the upcoming generation.
Nov. 24 A Native Thanksgiving
Join us for a special evening of teachings related to what Thanksgiving means for some Indigenous Native Americans. Our evening will focus on sharing the spiritual practices, family traditions, and ways to dispel the myths associated with this traditional holiday.
Dec. 8 Conflict Resolution Before Colonization
None of us were here before U.S. Colonization erupted. For Indigenous Native American people, much of our heritage is passed through the dreams, medicines, and visions gifted to us from our ancestors. You will hear the tools and protocol gifted to the Kunsi Keya leadership through decades of prayer, community discussion, and commitment.
